The dancing fountains are a beautiful spectacle for all those who behold its nightly shows! Dalyan

Dalyan is a beautiful riverside community that offers incredible experiences for its visitors. These include riverboat cruises, and up close and personal look at ancient and beautifully preserved ruins, a turtle beach, and some of the best and authentic restaurants in all of Turkey. One of the most notable sights would be the intricate carvings into the rock face of the nearby hills, the Carian Rock Tombs. They serve as a poignant guardian for the rich history to be found here.

The water is shallow and clear and the sand is immaculate and soft. This is a beach that is ideal for families or any group! Marmaris 19 May Youth Square

Located next to Dolmus Station for ease of access, the Marmaris 19 May Youth Square is a buzzing social hub. Not only is it the home of the dancing fountains, but an array of restaurants, shops, live music performances, and culture. Every bar and restaurant will welcome you with open arms, the vast and picturesque square is filled with fun-loving people and you’ll want to spend every evening drinking in the relaxed atmosphere.

Marmaris Museum

Museum, Archaeological site

In typical Turkish decadence, the Marmaris Museum is located inside a castle; the perfect tribute to its noble past. This is definitely the place for the keen historian! Our recommendation would be to leave approximately three hours to see the entire museum thoroughly. It hosts a wide array of exhibits and artefacts that are all clearly labelled and offer a thrilling insight into the past of the Ottoman Empire. The castle also offers stunning views of the surrounding area! Whilst the museum has been described as somewhat tricky to find, as with most adventures, it is definitely worth searching for.
