Surrounded by four seas with over 8,000 kilometres of coastlines, it’s a given that Turkey has some of the best marinas for those cruising its waters. From small bays and coves to the more trendy marinas with upscale shopping and dining, there’s something for every sailor at these great Turkish marinas.

Palmarina Bodrum

Certainly one of Turkey’s most upscale marinas, Palmarina is located in Bodrum’s Yalıkavak district and stretches along the coast with its many luxury shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Palmarina has enough space for 620 berths and offers all of the expected services from power supply to 24-hour mooring assistance and much more. From the helipad to the Palmarina Beach and Boutique Hotel with its own beach club, a stop at this marina is a small vacation in its own right.

Martı Marina

Located in a beautiful secluded bay outside of Marmaris, surrounded by pine forest-covered mountains and the expanse of the deep blue sea, Martı Marina is quite the special place to moor for a while. Open since 1996, Martı is one of the only marinas where guests can actually swim in the water where they moor. The Martı Hemithea Hotel is a luxurious retreat where you can rest after spending the day discovering all the nearby hidden bays, perhaps with a massage at the Yacht Club Spa or another tailor-made service.

Setur Marinas

One of the most well-known providers of marinas around Turkey, you’ll find a Setur Marina in Antalya, Ayvalık, Çeşme, Finike, Gökova, Kalamış, Kaş, Kuşadası, Marmaris, Midilli and Yalova. Each of these locations exudes the same high standard of service and comfort. Technical support, as well as repair and maintenance, are always available and Setur’s marinas are awarded for their commitment to environmental issues. If you’re looking for a marina that allows you to concentrate on the rich culture of each destination city, then Setur is the right choice.

D-Marin

Another very popular choice when it comes to a marina with an apparent touch of luxury, D-Marin is available in Turgutreis, Didim and Göcek (as well as in Croatia and Greece). The marinas are always located close enough to the city centre so visitors can make the best of their visit but far enough to maintain privacy and calm. The marina’s Yacht Club and Blue Point Beach Club offer accommodations as well as upmarket boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Spend some time on the beach, have dinner overlooking the water or unwind at the spa while your boat is taken care of with all the necessary services.

Ataköy Marina

Located outside of Istanbul’s city centre in the Ataköy district (close to the Istanbul Atatürk Airport), the Ataköy Marina is a sprawling modern complex with its own shopping centre with plenty of cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea. From basic services, such as electricity and water needs, mooring services, laundry and ironing, repair and much more, the marina is also right next to the luxurious Sheraton Istanbul Ataköy Hotel.
