Although Singapore may be the most expensive city in the world, it is also the most popular choice for expatriates due to the high earning potential and top-tier education facilities, with year-round Summer weather as an added bonus. Looking to impress your out-of-town clients so they can love Singapore like you do? Here’s our list of the best restaurants to do just that.

1. Skyve Wine Bistro

Restaurant, Wine Bar, Bistro, European, Fusion, Japanese

Skyve Wine Bistro boasts a central location, just a few minutes away from Orchard Road. Skyve is beautifully decorated in a chic and minimalist style and during the day the large windows allow a lot of natural light into the restaurant. It’s perfect for client meetings because it’s sophisticated without feeling stuffy.

2. Senso Ristorante and Bar

Bar, Restaurant, Italian

If you’re looking for somewhere modern with impeccable service, Senso Ristorante & Bar on Chinatown’s Club Street is the place to go. Located just outside Central Business District, Senso offers delectable contemporary Italian fare and an extensive wine list. Senso has the best of both worlds when it comes to inside and al fresco dining. When you enter the restaurant, you’ll pass through a beautiful courtyard before entering the main interior eating area. Let them know your preference when you make your reservation, which is recommended as this place is always busy!

3. Kai Garden

Restaurant, European

Many of the restaurants on our list serve European and Western tastes, however, for clients who are making their first forays into Asia, consider taking them to Kai Garden. Here, chefs serve up Cantonese classics with a contemporary twist. Try their signature dish, the Singapore Peking Duck, or if you’re feeling adventurous order the Poached Garoupa in Lobster Broth. For this dish, the fresh garoupa is brought to the table sliced and beautifully presented and then poached in lobster broth at the table. Definitely an experience your clients will remember!

5. The White Rabbit

Bar, Restaurant, Asian, French, Vegan, European, Vegetarian, Fast Food, Gluten-free

The White Rabbit is located away from the normal corporate hangout locales like Telok Ayer and Raffles, so this is the place to impress clients who visit Singapore so frequently that they are on a first-name basis with the servers at the Club Street hotspots. Located in a former chapel from the 1930s in Dempsey Hill, clients will be impressed by a beautiful and laid back environment. Sit at the al fresco picnic tables if you want to keep your meeting feeling casual or even to celebrate after a successful one!

6. Level 33

Restaurant, Bar, Gastropub, European

Level 33 is located on the financial district side of Marina Bay and the exterior tables offer sweeping views of Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore skyline and the Colonial District. Impress your clients with the fact that Level 33 is the highest microbrewery in the world and they’ll be further impressed when they taste the beers. The menu offers a range of well-executed Gastropub tapas that are perfect for when you discuss your next merger.

7. Lobby Lounge Crowne Plaza, Changi

Restaurant, Fusion

The Crown Plaza near Changi airport is not the most impressive place to meet your client, however, if they’re just in town briefly, they’ll appreciate that you made the trip out there with their convenience in mind. The lounge is large enough that you can find tables with some privacy and the hotel also offers a full range of business services, including a plug-and-play multimedia table should you require them.

We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips.
