This tropical island getaway is one of three off the coast of Lombok, in the southeast of the Indonesian archipelago. The perfect blend of Gili Trawangan’s buzz and Gili Meno’s secluded vibe, it’s known as the honeymoon island of the three. But it doesn’t just cater to starry-eyed couples – solo travellers will also love the upscale hotels, white-sand beaches and snorkelling in the sparkling ocean waters. Here’s our guide to the best hotels in Gili Air, bookable with Culture Trip.

We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way.
