About your trip

Starting and ending in the Indian capital, this 12-day exploration takes in some of the most alluring sights and experiences that this unique country has to offer.

You’ll begin by diving straight into a whirlwind of Indian culture in New Delhi, including visits to the UNESCO heritage site, Humayun’s Tomb, as well as the resting place of Mahatma Ghandi, Raj Ghat, and Qutub Minar, among others.

From there you will head on a fascinating expedition throughout some of India’s most sought-after experiences, including elephant rides in Jaipur, temple visits in Pushkar and even an overnight stay in Fort Chanwa, where you’ll be made to feel like a Maharaja/Maharani, as you make the most of its regal facilities. That royal feeling will also be found at Udaipur, home of India’s largest palace, which you will see from both land and on a majestic boat ride on Lake Pichola.

As well as being pampered, you’ll also have the chance to get back to nature, with a safari in Ranthambore National Park, where you’ll get the chance to spot some amazing big cats, including hyenas, cheetahs, panthers and if you’re lucky, Indian tigers.

The trip will conclude with a return to Delhi, but not before seeing India’s most famous site of all, the Taj Mahal, with your final day including a visit to what is undoubtedly one of the most majestic and beautiful buildings in the world, ensuring you go out on a high.
