A university district, Wudaokou is filled with the kind of trendy coffee shops, international eateries and tech malls that keep students entertained. Lively, fun and thoroughly millennial, it makes a perfect base for a stay in Beijing.

If you’re wanting to save a bit of cash for Wudaokou’s excellent clubbing scene, Lantinghui Hotel is your best option. This cosy hotel contains a range of two-bed guest rooms minus the exorbitant price tag. Its proximity to the Wudaokou subway station across the road is another big plus.
