This cafe is located close to Tianjin University and has a picturesque summer garden. The evergreen themed bar features a glass wall, which catches the light when the sun shines. L-lounge is decorated inside-out with plants and shrubbery. Also known for its Western-inspired desserts, try pairing a sweet cocktail with a pastry.

Q Bar
A favorite among expats for dancing, Q Bar at The Westin Tianjin has established a following for its themed nights. With Havana Salsa and Belly Dancing on the agenda, the atmosphere here is never stiff. Q Bar isn’t necessarily the best place for wine aficionados, but perfect for sociable night owls who want to take advantage of the two complimentary glasses of wine, inclusive of the 100 RMB entry price. Le Procope Lounge
This retro speakeasy echoes those in Paris. Le Procope Lounge is one of the few single malt whiskey bars in Tianjin. The interiors are pared back, with exposed brick walls, ladders for high shelves and dim, ambient lighting. This stylish bar is a chic place to enjoy a bourbon on the rocks, but if you’re not a whiskey drinker, there’s also a selection of beer, wine and cocktails.

The place for devoted whiskey enthusiasts is The Tianjin Single Malt Club. Though membership is free, you contribute to the club by introducing your own bottle to their Whiskey Library. In return, you receive delicious whiskeys at members’ prices. This is an invitation-only establishment, but the club is open to whiskey lovers of all nationalities and ages. The owner Sylvia is very welcoming, encouraging everyone inside to make new friends.

Mosaic
Authentic Mexican hangouts are somewhat of a rarity in China, Mosaic not only offers typical beer, wine, cocktails but also mouth-watering food from Mexico. Conveniently located near Wu Jia Yao subway station, 2 minutes walk out of A2 exit, this place is easy to find and a great place to spend a Friday night with friends.
Oscar House
Bourbon comes highly recommended here, although it’s not the only reason to pay a visit to Oscar House. Made-to-order drinks are guaranteed to please. Attention to detail is notable, with excellent customer service to match. Pop in for handcrafted cocktails and the exclusive atmosphere, reminiscent of a country club. This joint is well known by most taxi drivers and located in the middle of downtown Tianjin.
