For those wondering what that is, the botato is a jacket potato, stuffed with pulled pork and topped with cheese (it’s quite bodacious – hence the name). Other menu items include slow-cooked ribs and brisket, served with classic creole and barbecue sides. The restaurant was inspired by a combined 26 years of creole style cookery, handed down by grandmother and mother, as well as a stint in San Antonio style barbecue. This venue has a relaxed, no frills approach to cookery, and is all the better for it.
