The Best Street Style at Copenhagen Fashion Week

When Fashion Week comes around, Copenhagen’s street-style icons are as high a priority for photographers as the runway models. From London-based editors to buyers to local bloggers, here are some of the best-dressed attendees and the looks they wore to make an impression during Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) spring/summer 2019.

Printed tea dresses have become a spring/summer 2018 signature thanks to labels like Rixo and Ganni bucking the trend with their covetable wrap designs. It’s no wonder, then, that Copenhagen was awash with the garments when the fashion industry descended on the city. Proving that small needn’t mean subtle, Yuzefi’s boxy bag designs add a point of interest to any look. Emili Sindlev is one of Copenhagen’s best-recognised names in fashion, not only for her work as a stylist but also for her personal blog and Instagram fashion page. Havaianas seem a controversial footwear choice but, like Katarina Petrovic and Celine Aagaard, Sindlev mixes luxury and high-street accessories to strike an enduring balance and create an overall aesthetic that’s easily mimicked.
