Dogs are welcomed warmly at this boutique hotel in the center of Yountville for a fee. Pet parents love how they don’t have to sacrifice style (North Block Hotel’s guest rooms are in several Mediterranean-style buildings, situated around a courtyard) or skimp on amenities (a pool, a gym and rooms with private balconies). It’s just a few blocks away from many of Yountville’s best restaurants, too. You and your pooches can stroll into town for pastries on the patio at Bouchon Bakery or have dinner (seated outside) at Bistro Jeanty, a Yountville fixture serving classic French fare such as hearty coq au vin and steak tartare.

Better still, dogs are welcome, too; you and your four-legged friends can cozy up by the fireplace in your room or relax on the wraparound porch at this Nap pet-friendly hotel. It’s a flat fee per dog, but make sure to reserve in advance. There’s only one pet-friendly room.
