Live Your Childhood Fairytale in Airbnb's New Denmark Lego House
Airbnb and LEGO joined forces and are offering a dream house for young and old LEGO fans to the most creative LEGO enthusiast. LEGO® House is made of 25 million bricks and one lucky family will have the chance to spend the night of November 24 in it for free.
After fours years of constructions, the LEGO® House was inaugurated on September 28, 2017 and is now ready to welcome its first guests. On November 24, a lucky winner and their guests (up to three) will have the chance to spend a day in the 120,000-square meter house and sleep on a bed made of LEGO bricks under a six-meter-tall LEGO waterfall.
The imaginative house is located in Billund, the Danish city where the very first LEGO was constructed back in the 1930s and Airbnb will provide guests with transportation tickets. Once they get there, Jamie, one of the finest master builders in the world, will welcome them at the LEGO® House and share some secret LEGO tips and tricks. Then guests will be asked to use LEGO bricks to create their meal order before robot waiters serve them the real one. Special surprises and events will be awaiting visitors, offering them a playful and creative day before heading to their LEGO bed. Among others, they’ll have the chance to explore LEGO creations, including Tree of Creativity, a six-million brick construction, direct a LEGO movie, and see LEGO bricks that were produced several decades ago.
If all that sounds fun, write a text up to 550 characters about what you and your family would build with an infinite supply of LEGO Bricks and submit it on Airbnb’s competition page. The most creative LEGO fan will have the chance to experience these two unique days surrounded by millions of their favorite colorful bricks.
