Bryant Park Grill, known as “the jewel” of Bryant Park, is a little piece of Paris in the heart of New York. The restaurant, complete with a rooftop bar lined with flower boxes, is the perfect spot for a romantic weekend brunch date. On Saturday and Sunday, enjoy the restaurant’s deliciously diverse brunch menu. Featuring sweet pancakes, french toast and eggs of every option, it will satisfy the empty spot in your stomach.

The Sarabeth’s brand dominates jam and jelly shelves, and its restaurant chain is equally successful and satisfying. Stop in on the weekend to savor its extensive brunch menu; it isn’t your typical limited item brunch list. Sarabeth’s offers numerous dishes, including a fruit bowl, omelets and meaty entrées. By the time you’ve finished eating, you’ll want to thank Sarabeth herself.

Norma’s

If you want to be fancy and have something a little more high-end, Norma’s is the place to go. The restaurant, inside the luxurious Parker New York (formerly Le Parker Meridien), specializes in uniquely sweet breakfast items. Attempts at self-control in this place are an exercise in futility, as the vast menu offers some of the most irresistible dishes, including crêpes. With so many options, you’ll probably end up ordering with your eyes instead of your stomach, but you won’t be disappointed.

Lillie’s Victorian Establishment

If you like chic walks through time, then the historical atmosphere of Lillie’s Victorian Establishment is the place for you. This incredibly spacious, high-ceilinged, vintage restaurant satisfies hunger and the longing for a good, cold brew. Although the brunch menu may not be as long as some of the others on this list, the dishes it does have more than makes up for that. The menu changes regularly but features several egg options alongside salads and sandwiches.

The View Restaurant and Lounge

Though eating at the View Restaurant and Lounge might take a little more planning than some of the other venues here, the additional preparation is well worth it. This rooftop venue at the top of the New York Marriott Marquis lives up to its name, offering fantastic skyscraper views of the city. The only thing that will successfully take your attention away from the buildings and lights will be the incredibly delicious cuisine.

Blue Fin is the place to go for sushi and seafood. During brunch, enjoy the raw bar, dressed sushi, sushi rolls or an exquisite main dish. The menu also caters to those who prefer brunch classics such as eggs, pancakes or waffles, as well as salad and sandwich options. While the restaurant is on the pricier side, the portions and quality of the food compensate for that.

BXL Cafe
