They also have dog-friendly outdoor seating. The place is a hit among vegetarians too as there is a different and extensive meatless menu. Must-tries are the Malay satay and pineapple fried rice that comes in a hollowed-out pineapple.

Sen Dai Sushi

Den Dai Sushi offers authentic Japanese food, including sushi, tempura, teriyaki, and some delicious varieties of Japanese home-style dishes. It places an emphasis on seafood. Crabs, tuna, salmon, yellowtail, escolar, shrimp, freshwater eel, octopus, albacore, scallops, mackerel, whiting, and calamari are some of the varieties featured on the menu. Authentic-style comfort food, gracious service, and a cozy setting make this a sushi-lover’s favorite. The California rolls are highly recommended.

Mil’s Diner

Owned and managed by Louie and Roula, Mil’s Diner is an old-school American diner with red booths and laminate tabletops serving basic breakfast and lunch fare. Louie, the head chef, makes the fluffiest omelets in town. Roula, the hostess, is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Their omelets and Cajun-style sausages are very popular, and the mimosa is highly recommended.

La Milpa

La Milpa is a little family-owned Mexican restaurant with a full bar and a weekend mariachi band. They have been around for quite some time, serving home-style Mexican comfort food, and are quite famous for their Mexican breakfast fare. The service and decor are inviting and cozy, creating a family-style atmosphere. The menu includes tamales, soups, quesadillas, burritos, and breakfast. The menudo and the chicken chimichanga remain all-time favorites.

Giorgio’s

Giorgio’s is the place to go for pizza in the South Bay. A single bite into its hand-tossed Quattro Formaggi will show you why. Their menus feature some time-honored southern Italian favorites like veal parmigiana and osso buco. The ambiance is upbeat and trendy with cozy indoor and casual outdoor patio seating. The pizzas here are, no doubt, a must-try, and they have some great vegetarian options.

This Michelin Guide-recommended upbeat restaurant and bar, with tabletop grilling, offers authentic Korean cuisine. Options include tofu soups, noodles, dumplings, hot pots and more.
