Hidden on the side streets of Highland Park is La Tropicana Market, a grocery, mini mart and liquor store. At the back of this market is Monte 52, a counter space where sandwiches, both hot and cold, are plenty. This is a deli sandwich place with variety, seeing as they also have tortas on the menu (beans, spicy salsa and your choice of meat in a Spanish baguette) alongside the classic BLT and Italian sub.
