2. Pizzeria Farina

Pizzeria Farina

A tiny but popular, pizza-focused establishment in Chinatown, Pizzeria Farina opens daily serving up tasty pizzas until 5pm or until the dough runs out. The dough is thin, soft but with a crunch, and has slight charring from the oven. The place has a trendy interior with shelves on the walls lined with tinned tomatoes, and the space is small, seating only a few people at small tables on the side and a large communal table in the middle. If you dine in, there are infused olive oils available as condiments that are sold separately if you want to take them home.

Classic topping combinations with a twist, served in a casual atmosphere, make every visit to Pizza Carano feel like dinner at a friend’s. The non-traditional Neapolitan-style pizza is made with simple, fresh ingredients and prepared slowly to enhance each flavor. Pizza Carano is a small place, with a long communal table in the middle and some seating around the restaurant for singles or couples. Guests can add extra meats such as hickory smoked ham or sopressata, vegetables such as roasted garlic or hickory smoked castelvetrano olives, or other toppings like roasted macadamia nuts or basil oil to any of their pizzas for a small extra cost. They can also order any pizza with gluten-free dough.

Pizzeria Ludica

A thin-crust pizzeria with over 700 board and card games that are free to play, Pizzeria Ludica‘s goal is to promote facetime and unplugging. It offers its guests an opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends over good food and a board game. All of Ludica’s pizzas are handmade with naturally leavened dough and baked in the restaurant’s own stone oven. They also have plenty of options for switching out ingredients to make pizzas vegetarian and even vegan-friendly.
