Ayyam Gallery in Dubai is amongst the most influential contemporary art galleries in the Middle East region, with branches in several major cities. It represents highly influential Arab and Iranian artists including Sadik Alfraji, Tammam Azzam and Khaled Takreti.

Carbon 12 Dubai was established in 2008, with the aim to support international contemporary artists in the Middle-East. The gallery’s focus is to promote an emerging artist program and to represent well established international artists.

Gallery | The Third Line

The Third Line represents contemporary Middle Eastern artists locally, regionally and internationally in Dubai. In addition to monthly exhibitions, The Third Line hosts non-profit, alternative programs to increase interest and debate in the region.

Museum | Louvre Abu Dhabi

Located on the Saadiyat Island complex, the Louvre Abu Dhabi will be completed in 2015. Designed by Jean Nouvel, the museum will showcase artwork from around the world, with a focus on bridging the gap between Eastern and Western art.

Museum | Salsali Private Museum

The Salsali Private Museum is Dubai’s first private museum for Contemporary Middle Eastern and International art. SPM is part of Alserkal Avenue, a unique warehouse complex with the highest concentration of galleries and creative spaces in the region.

Museum | Dubai Museum

Located in the Al Fahidi Fort, the Dubai Museum is the oldest building in Dubai built in 1787. Opened by the ruler of Dubai in 1971, the museum includes local antiquities as well as artifacts from African and Asian countries that traded with Dubai.

Museum | Dubai Heritage Village

The Dubai Heritage Village provides a glimpse into Dubai’s traditional culture, including Emirate’s maritime history, pearl diving traditions and architecture. Displays include a tented Bedouin village, ancient armory, wooden chests and cooking utensils.
