Placed in its current location since 1971, Les Halles is an amazing food market offering places to sit down and eat in addition to having 56 different stalls that sell all kinds of delicacies. The market has huge variations, ranging from an oyster bar to extremely simple products, but customers can be assured that all products are high quality. The market is indoor, meaning that it stays open year-round. The market is praised as the best in Lyon, so make sure to stop in and give it a try.

Park of the Golden Head

The Park of the Golden Head is a huge attraction in Lyon that features greenhouses, a zoo, a botanical garden, rose gardens, and a track cycling arena. The park is extremely popular in the summertime, when guests can roam around the different areas of the park and look at animals and plants. The park’s zoo has expanded to the point that it contains an African plain, split into five parts, that has over 130 animals alone. The park of the Golden Head is great for spending some time in the great outdoors.
