Hop aboard your luxury catamaran from 6pm at the marina in Le Marin – a quiet village in the south of Martinique surrounded by mangroves, coral reefs and islets. You’ll be welcomed by the crew and have time to settle into your cabin before sailing towards the island of Bequia, passing St Lucia and St Vincent. Spend your first evening enjoying a delicious dinner and getting to know your fellow travellers.

This morning, you’ll arrive at Admiralty Bay in Bequia – the northernmost island in the Grenadines archipelago and one of the most popular. After breakfast, you’ll have the option to go sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding or snorkelling if you’re feeling active; alternatively, soak up the sun and unwind on deck. You’ll have free time to explore the island in the afternoon, before returning to the boat for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Leave Bequia behind as you sail south to Mayreau – the smallest inhabited island in the Grenadines, with a total area of just 1.2sqkm (0.5sqmi) and a population of less than 300. Despite its tiny size, the island has plenty to keep you busy: visit a hilltop Catholic church with superb panoramas of the Caribbean Sea and nearby islands, swim in secluded bays and tuck into local cuisine. Salt Whistle Bay and Saline Bay are the two prime spots to chill out and catch rays. 

Your journey continues to the Tobago Cays, known as the Jewel in the Crown of the southern Grenadines. This archipelago of five uninhabited islands lies within a protected marine park, surrounded by a horseshoe-shaped barrier reef. The warm, shallow waters and large population of sea turtles make it a snorkeller’s paradise. Though if you don’t fancy snorkelling, opt for sunbathing or windsurfing or perhaps pay a visit to Petit Tabac, which features in Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). In the evening, you’ll have the option to enjoy a barbecue dinner on the beach.

After breakfast, you’ll return to Bequia and spend time exploring the main town, Port Elizabeth. Scope out the restaurants, cafes and shops lining the walkway alongside Princess Margaret Beach, and stop by a fresh fruit and vegetable market. In the afternoon, hop back on the boat and head north towards Cumberland Bay in St Vincent – the next stop on your island-hopping adventure. Enjoy dinner on board and, if you’re up for it, head to a local steel-band bar for authentic Caribbean music and a jovial ambience.

Enjoy a leisurely morning on board or spend a couple of hours in St Vincent, taking in several viewpoints around the island and crossing a bamboo bridge to reach the Dark View Falls. The two towering waterfalls cascade down a sheer cliff face in the jungle, creating a natural rock pool below – the perfect spot for a refreshing dip. Return to the boat for lunch, and set off in the direction of St Lucia, where you’ll spend the penultimate night of your trip.

Keen to experience what St Lucia has to offer? You’ll have the option to join a tour of the island, with stops in Soufrière (the former capital), the Diamond Botanical Gardens, the geysers around La Soufrière volcano and the sulphur springs, where you can bathe in geothermal water and mineral-rich mud. It’s then time to begin the final leg of your journey from St Lucia back to Sainte-Anne in Martinique. Come nightfall, join your fellow travellers for drinks and one final dinner on board to cap off your adventure. 

Enjoy one final breakfast on board and sail back to Le Marin marina, where you’ll disembark at 10am. Bid farewell to your new friends before heading to the airport to begin your journey home – or choose to extend your stay and see what else awaits you in the Caribbean.
