Bogota might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of big contemporary art cities, but over the past five years, this is what it has become. With recent investments in art and culture, the city is attracting collectors and artists from all over the world (especially from Latin America and Europe). One of Bogota’s main attractions for art enthusiasts is the city’s large number of art fairs; from international exhibitors to local Colombian remote region handcrafters, there is something for everyone. International Art Fair Bogota (ARTBO)

ARTBO is Bogota’s biggest art fair, showcasing young fresh talent as well as established artists, specialising in the visual arts, from around Colombia and the world. This art show will take place in Bogota’s Corferias Centre for five days, and tickets start from COP32,000 (approximately US$10).

Feria del Millón

Feria del Millón – a name that refers to the fact that each piece of art costs COP1 million (approximately US$340) – is a unique art exhibition with emerging artists and a culture of new collectors. Expoartesanias is a large, two-week-long fair that will be held in Corferias.
