Deep in the hills of Paraty, Brazil you’ll find a waterslide that locals dub an absolute blast. Why, you ask? Simple – adrenaline junkies slip and dive into an idyllic pool surrounded by the awesome Brazilian jungle.
It’s not easy though. A test of balance, endurance and patience, those who visit are told by local teenagers to protect their skulls – yes, really. Terrifying to watch, and exciting to behold, the experience deserves top spot on your South American bucket list. After you’ve survived the epic drop, go grab an authentic caipirinha, Brazil’s national cocktail at Poço do Tarzan.
Oh, and visiting the bar is just as much an adventure, as you have to cross a swinging bridge above the falls to get to it!
