MixMagLive Brasil

After its smashing success in London in 2012 and having done the rounds in New York City last November, the Mixmag Live event series is now heading to Brazil. The electronic music festival, transmitted live via MixMag TV will take place on February 3 at the Audio Club. Mixmag Live’s Brazilian debut will present a host of Brazilian talent including Illusionize, Elekfantz, Volkoder, Victor Lou, Malik Mustache and Dubdogz.

Dekmantel

February 4-5, 2017

Probably one of the best electronic music festivals in the world, Dekmantel leaves Amsterdam and arrives in São Paulo for the first time. The event takes place at São Paulo’s Jockey Club racetracks. In addition, nightly programmes will be hosted at Fabriketa, an old factory with an open area located in the Brás neighborhood. The event brings the first ever line-up in São Paulo of Nicolas Jaar, Jeff Mills, John Talabot, Nina Kraviz, Ben Clock, Wild, just to name a few.

Lollapalooza Brasil 2017

March 25-26

The 6th edition of Lollapalooza Brasil 2017 takes place at the city’s auto-racing track, Autodromo de Interlagos, in the Southern region of São Paulo. This year the famous music festival brings in star attractions like Metallica, The Strokes, The Weekend, The XX and many more. It will also feature duo The Chainsmokers, music producer Flume, along with Two Door Cinema Club, Rancid, Duran Duran, The 1975, the Tove Lo singers, Melanie Martinez, MØ and Cage The Elephant band. Among the national highlights are singer Cielo, rapper Criolo, the Suricato band and singer Jaloo.

Electric Zoo Brasil 2017

For those disappointed with the fact that the Tomorrowland festival has been cancelled in Brazil, we have some good news for you. Electric Zoo Festival will make its debut on Brazilian soil in April in São Paulo. Although the line-up for this year’s festival has not been released, organizers have said that the theme will be ‘King Cobra’.

Maximus Festival

The Maximus Festival takes place at the auto racetrack Autodromo de Interlagos and has already confirmed some of the attractions of this year’s festival. Linkin Park and Rise Against were the first to be confirmed at the rock festival, joined Five Finger Death Punch and Prophets of Rage (band formed by members of Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill and Public Enemy).
