Vaudevillia At The State Library Of Victoria

The National Library of Victoria is hosting a retrospective night looking back at the Vaudeville circus acts of the 1920s and 30s. Wander through Queen’s Hall, before it closes for refurbishment, and watch as hat dancers, hoop dancers, slackwire acrobats, chorus girls, clowns, and jugglers perform and take a look at the Vaudevillian sounds and images from the library’s collection. Sue Broadway, one of the founding members of Circus Oz, will reveal secrets from the Library Creative Fellowship, and the evening will be narrated her character, Ettie Peterson. Performers will include Debra Iris Batton, Carolyn Connors, Rockie Stone, Peter Gray, Christof!!, Big Foot Little Foot, Adagio Duet,  Emilie Bloom, Karen Edelenbos and Grace Robins.
