The Simon & Garfunkel Story Comes To Melbourne

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 24 June 2016

After a sell-out season on London’s West End and a triumphant European tour, The Simon & Garfunkel Story is coming to Melbourne’s Hamer Hall. The show tells the story of how two boys from Queens, New York went on to become the biggest duo of the 1960s. Relieve their career from the peak, with The Graduate, to their breakup and solo careers through songs and stories, and witness a recreation of the legendary 1981 Central Park reunion concert. The show also features photos and video footage from the 1960s, and you will hear all the classics including ‘Mrs Robinson’, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, ‘Homeward Bound’, ‘Scarborough Fair’, ‘The Boxer’ and The Sound Of Silence’. Playing for two nights only, you will not want to miss this stroll down memory lane.
