With wondrous waters surrounding Sydney, it comes as no surprise that the poster image for this city is bronzed beach-clad babes. The city is home to some pretty sweet swimwear shops, with everything from the finest local and independent brands to international luxury labels. These top stores have it all!

Founded in the early 70’s on the Gold Coast by surfer and skateboarder Gordon Merchant, Billabong is considered the iconic Aussie beach brand. Originally launching as a board shorts company, the brand today covers everything from snow sportswear to apparel, with swimwear still ruling supreme! With two major stores and dozens of retailers dotted around Sydney, stylish beach vibes are never far.

Pam Pam

Dreamed up by owner Sara Fuller while travelling the South of France as a young girl, Pam Pam is a love letter to endless summers and European glamour. Named after a Tahitian beach bar in France, Fuller draws inspiration from the sunburnt stretches of St Tropez and Ibiza, making Pam Pam the go-to destination in Sydney for luxury swim and resort wear. The carefully curated selection of beachwear in this Double Bay store include brands such as Lisa Marie Fernandez, Marysia and Karla Coletto. Although on the slightly higher end of the standard swimwear price range, these super stylish pieces are worth every penny!

Sunburn stocks mainly local Aussie brands such Jets, Camilla and Bondi Bather, with the exceptional few international names such as Maaji Swimwear and Heidi Klum Swimwear. Shop by shape, shop by size; yep, this swimwear destination really is one of the coolest stores in town.
