Taronga Zoo

This zoo boasts some of the best real estate in the city. Situated on the opposite side of the Sydney Harbour from the Opera House, it is an an easy day activity that is accessible by a short ferry journey. There are a range of tours offered, from the keeper-led Wild Australia Experience to the VIP Aussie Gold Tour of native animals. If your kids are looking for a truly unforgettable experience, you can check into the glamping tents and sleep over at the zoo for the Roar and Snore tour.

Bounce at Skyzone

Bounce is a huge warehouse space entirely filled with trampolines where the rules of gravity no longer apply. With more than 100 interconnected trampolines Sky Zone is a spring-loaded urban playground with a wide range of things to do with kids. It is also a surefire way to tire them out and a great, active option for a rainy day. Added bonus, it is a lot of fun for adults too.

A day at Icebergs

Icebergs Club is located on the southern edge of the world famous Bondi Beach. It is $6.50 per person to enter the pool which grants you access all day. It is an easy, convenient option compared to the beach, as there is no sand and plenty of shade. There is a dedicated kids’ pool and a cafe serving breakfast and lunch, but you’re also welcome to bring your own food too.

A day at Luna Park

You won’t miss Luna Park’s entrance which is a giant smiling face of the moon, situated at the foot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. With spectacular views of the water, Luna Park is an amusement park for children and the young at heart. You’ll have lots of fun on rides such as the Ferris wheel and the Tango Train on the edge of one of the world’s most beautiful harbours. The park is also conveniently located right next to the Milsons Point Ferry and Train stops.
