This July, Open House Melbourne is inviting you to step behind closed doors to explore the interiors of over 100 buildings throughout our city. Over the last weekend in July, you will have the rare opportunity to gain insight into Melbourne’s past through historic buildings, houses, and landmarks that are not generally open to the public. The buildings will be free to visit, and the event will include a series of talks, workshops and exhibitions. Since 2008, Open House Melbourne has aimed to connect people with the architecture and buildings they often walk past and overlook in order to highlight the beauty of Melbourne’s interiors.
