If you’re a cheese and wine fan who wants more out of life than a block of cheese on offer down at the supermarket and a bottle of red that isn’t dictated solely by the price tag, the Wine and Cheese Fest should be a highlight in your calendar. After two successful showings at Seaworks in Williamstown in previous years, the event is moving to the Meat Market heritage building in North Melbourne. With over 40 exhibitors, cheese-making classes, and live entertainment including a jazz band, this event has something for everyone. And if you went a bit overboard with the cheese eating, head over to GrapeStomp competition and get to work cheering the stompers’ efforts to look good while standing knee-deep in grapes and trying to produce as much juice as possible.
