Avid readers must not miss the opportunity to discover stunning artwork alongside powerful words as the State Library opens its doors for an extraordinary exhibition. Mirror of the World: Books and Ideas invites visitors to discover different aspects of the Library’s Rare Books collection, dating from 2050 BC to the present day. With over 235 new items on display, literature aficionados will be able to admire rare and significant works, including early editions of literary masterpieces such as Milton’s Paradise Lost, Cervantes’ Don Quixote, and Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
