Composer and flamenco guitarist Thomas Lorenzo will showcase smooth Spanish sounds at the Armadale Uniting Church this August. Born in Wollongong, Lorenzo was fixated with Spanish music from a young age, having come from a family who had fled their homeland due to fascism. After the death of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco in 1975, the family moved back to Barcelona where Lorenzo studied at the L’Aula de Musica del Conservatorio del Liceu. Lorenzo’s music is soulful and has the ability to capture you like a Mediterranean breeze.
