What happens when you give 20 of the world’s finest sculptors about 3,500 tonnes of sand to play with? A whole lotta fun and bit of magic, that’s what you get! Head over to the Frankston waterfront for a very special sand sculpting exhibition. This year’s theme is ‘Animals at the Zoo’ and visitors get to walk between over 100 life-sized renditions of giraffes, elephants, lions, gorillas and many others you would normally expect to see only at Melbourne Zoo. Also hidden amongst the wildlife are a few unexpectedly futuristic and mythical creatures and probably the best chance you’ll get to see a unicorn or the legendary Loch Ness monster here in Melbourne.
