Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast is more than just delicious food and incredible beaches. There’s mountainous landscape, hiking trails, waterfalls and lakes, all of which are sights worth seeing. Below you’ll find some of the best photos of the Sunshine Coast.

This stunning view of the Glasshouse Mountains can be seen from the hilltop town of Maleny which is full of quaint character and beauty in its own right. If you’re a keen hiker, the Glasshouse Mountains is where you want to head.

There’s nothing quite like the view over Caloundra on a hot summer’s day. The ‘Pumistone Passage’ in all its crystal clear aqua glory is a sight not to be missed, have a dip and float down the cool waters.

Lake Currimundi opens up onto a beautiful surf beach, but if you prefer some calmer waters set up for the day by the Lake. It’s the perfect location for stand up paddle boarding, or bring your own tube to float in.

The Maroochydore River is stunning at any time of the day but sunsets can be extra special. By day, you can hire a boat and spend the day on the water with friends having a BBQ to soak up the amazing weather.
