West Seattle has a host of wonderful restaurants that you must try when visiting the area, most of them are located at The Junction, which is the central business district of the city and home of most of its establishments. There are also a number of restaurants located near the waterfront of Alki beach, one of the main beaches in the area. Here is our list of the top ten restaurants in West Seattle.

1. Talarico's Pizzeria & Lounge

If you’re looking for a hearty slice of East Coast-style pizza in West Seattle, this is the place you must visit. Talarico’s serves up huge individual slices or the whole pie, and they have a lot of tasty selections to choose from. The pizzeria has a number of flat screen TVs, which makes it the perfect spot to chow down during sporting events, and their happy hours, which are every day offer awesome deals on pizza and drinks. Talarico’s also has a fully stocked bar, and the whole place becomes 21+ after 10PM each night.

2. Ma'ono

Fans of fried chicken or all things Asian and Hawaiian fusion must stop by at this restaurant while in West Seattle. Ma’ono, a restaurant designed with a sleek, modern interior, serves some of the best fried chicken you can find in the whole city, and possibly in the state of Washington. Definitely try their fried chicken, and be sure to call and make a reservation, both for your spot at the restaurant, and also for the chicken itself, as it is in extremely high demand. Their whisky cocktails, popcorn ice cream, and curried bacon fried rice are also highly delectable menu items.

3. Mashiko Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

This sushi spot is truly special, being one of the only premium restaurants for sustainably sourced sushi in the nation. Not only does Mashiko have a fantastic mission that’s great for the environment, marine life, and all humans, but head chef Hajime Sato’s creations are absolutely mouthwatering. Be sure to try the Red Violin roll, and wash it down with Shiso Beer served on tap. They also have an incredible green tea ice cream, served with fried brownies from the famous Bakery Nouveau located next door.

5. Pizzeria Credo

This Italian restaurant is a true gem in West Seattle, featuring some of the city’s very best wood-fired pizza. Chef Jacques Nawar leads the restaurant in serving up delicious menu items and a decent sized wine selection. The wood-fired pizza here is very popular, especially the Con Carne, the Parma, and the Funghi. In addition to pizza, we recommend trying the Caprese salad, featuring homemade mozzarella, as well as the house-made burrata. This is a spot you certainly don’t want to miss out on.

6. The Grill At The Seattle Fish Company

Seafood lovers must check out this location, which doubles as both a fresh fish market and a restaurant. The Grill at the Seattle Fish Company features fresh-caught crab, salmon, oyster, and halibut that can either be bought or prepared in store to be enjoyed dining in or for take-out. The atmosphere is simple yet artsy, with wooden barrels featuring local beers and contemporary art pieces covering the walls. Be sure to try their oyster shooters, dungeness crab cocktail, and fish and chips.
