Old Europe is a restaurant with an interesting story that goes all the way back to 1948. The restaurant continues the tradition of serving up authentic German cuisine in DC, which was the original vision for this spot when it was opened by the Lichtenstein family. Old Europe observes many festivals throughout the year. During Oktoberfest, a Bavarian atmosphere prevails, complete with steins full of Bock beers and hearty peasant meals.

Arcuri serves up a fusion of Italian and American cuisines in a warm and rustic dining setting. The menu includes classics such as meatball appetizers, a variety of pastas (pappardelle, potato gnocchi and ravioli to name a few) and pizzas. Larger plates like roast chicken are also available. There are a few creative dishes too: give the Spanish octopus appetizer a try. It comes with eggplant caponata, fingerlings and sopressata.
