Updated: 31 March 2016
Watch Texas history come to life at the 2016 San Jacinto Day Festival and Battle Reenactment. The festival will have music, educational performances, and dance. ‘All Stars’ Youth Banjo Band, Danza Azteca Taxcayolotl, K.R Wood, and Texas Snakes are some shows to check out. Other attractions include camel rides, mechanical bull rides, and demonstrations by blacksmiths, weavers, and spinners. Vendors will sell handmade items and historical crafts. At 3PM, the reenactment begins! Real cannons, horses, and pyrotechnics make this event a fun and unique way learn about Texas’ past. The event is a great way for the whole family to celebrate a little Texas pride.
