Watch Art And Dance Collide With Fly Dance

Discovery Green, Houston’s downtown park, will host a performance by Fly Dance Company. The performance is designed to interact with the Los Trompos spinning tops in the park. Los Trompos is an art installation by Mexico City designers Héctor Esrawe and Ignacio Cadena on display in the park until March 22. The interactive artwork consists of large spinning tops covered in colorful ropes; children and adults alike can climb inside and transform the pieces into a playground. Fly Dance Company’s show is a part of a series of performances designed to bring these colorful installations to life while combining different artistic genres.
