Bill Smith’s Café

Established in 1956, Bill Smith’s Café is McKinney’s oldest dining establishment. Nothing they serve is pre-packaged and all of the biscuits, gravy, pies and rolls are made in the cafe from scratch. Three generations of Smiths have been whipping up small town American ‘home-cooked meals’ for the residents of McKinney over the years, making it one of the city’s landmarks and a great place for a family friendly meal.

Cadillac Pizza Pub

Cadillac Pizza Pub, affectionately known as ‘The Cady’, can be found in historic downtown McKinney. It has some of the best music in the north of Texas and a friendly, neighborhood vibe. Live music can be found here on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Cadillac Pizza Pub uses fresh Texan ingredients to make their pizza sauce and dough daily, contributing to their reputation as ‘the best pizza in McKinney.’ Cadillac Pizza Pub’s wood-fired pizzas are inspired by New York pizzerias and are a delicious choice for any occasion.

Hutchins

Hutchins’ BBQ has been voted the best in McKinney for ten years in a row, is family run, and has been serving the McKinney community since 1978. The BBQ at Hutchins is made with fresh cuts of meat, delivered throughout the day and cooked to perfection over burning fine pecan wood. Hutchins has also perfected its own BBQ sauces in order to create a true Texas BBQ experience for its visitors.

Louisiana Street Grill

Located in the Flourmill district, Louisiana Street Grill offers an upscale, casual dining atmosphere. Louisiana Street Grill serves wood fired steaks and seafood in an old converted furniture warehouse. Emigdio Raymundo owned a furniture store at this address for over twenty years before converting it into a restaurant, and even made all of the restaurant furniture, including the hand-carved wooden bar. The restaurant furniture is not the only thing made from scratch at the Louisiana Street Grill, the bread is baked daily using Raymundo’s personal recipe.
