The History Of JMBLYA Music Festival

Among the performers this year at JMBLYA, a popular EDM and hip hop music festival set up by ScoreMore Shows, are Future, Carnage, Kevin Gates, Rae Sremmurd, and R&B singer Kehlani. Hitting two big Texas cities this year – Dallas and Austin – JMBLYA is predicted to be just as big (if not bigger) than last year’s.

JMBLYA never seems to disappoint. With alumni acts like Chance the Rapper, Cashmere Cat, Denzel Curry, Travis Scott, Vic Mensa, Kaytranada and A$AP Ferg, it was already expected to draw a large audience. Going on its fourth year, this two-day Texas city tour always features well-known artists as well as upcoming performers.

So what makes this Texas music festival so much different than ACL, Free Press Summer Fest, and SXSW? Besides the fact that it’s a one-day event, you won’t see a lineup of quality hip-hop talent quite like this one elsewhere. It’s also hosted by ScoreMore Shows, a promotional brand that has been known to host big events and parties like this year’s ILLMORE after-party at SXSW. That alone should give you a sneak peak preview of what to expect at JMBLYA.

JMBLYA in Dallas will happen on May 13 at the Coliseum Parking Lot at Fair Park; Austin on May 14 at the Austin American Statesman Parking Lot. Tickets are still available here. The event will happen rain or shine and welcomes all ages.

If you’re looking for a high-energy, hip hop music festival to attend, we recommend this one!
