Show Your Appreciation For The Galveston Bay At Bay Day

Bay Day is a free event celebrating the importance of the Galveston Bay Texas coastal cities. The event is hosted by the Galveston Bay Association and aims to educate both children and adults about the ways the bay influences their daily lives. Festival activities include arts and crafts, live animals and touch tanks, live music, science exhibits, and a scavenger hunt. Visitors can also learn about organizations working to preserve the bay and its wildlife like Baytown Nature Center, Sea Center Texas, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The event is expected to bring in thousands of visitors and is held on Kemah Boardwalk, a treasured Houston attraction.
