Discover Local Talent At Playhouse 1960 Short Play Festival

Houston’s Playhouse 1960 presents its first ever Playhouse 1960 Short Play Festival. The event lasts two weeks on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Attendees can watch 16 new short plays by local playwrights. Some selections from the festival include A Well Kept Man by Bryan Manard, Basement and Balrogs: A Fantasy Game For Four or More by More Alison Scott, and How Cat Ladies Recruit by Nicholas Garelick. Thirteen local directors and more than 35 actors are also sharing their talents with the festival. All plays are performed each night of the festival. Tickets are $18, and students get in at a discounted rate.
