Indigenous Institute of the Americas presents its 12th Annual Santa Fe Days in the Park. The two-day event is a celebration of Native American Indian culture, arts and food. The family friendly event has something everyone can enjoy. Don’t miss the opening ceremony Saturday morning where the celebration begins with beautiful drum and dance performances and flag presentations. At the festival, be sure to visit the Cultural Path Educational Tent and the Tipi Design Contest to learn more about Native culture. Over 75 artists will display their crafts and art from different tribes. Featured artists include Charlotte Alverez, Theresa Renegar, Jeremiah Begay, and Santa Clara Pueblo Pottery.
