Here’s another great reason to visit the Galleria this month — and it’s not a sale. Landscape artist Stephen Wiltshire will create a panorama of the Houston skyline from memory over a five-day period as the public watches as part of his Elevate Houston project. That catch is, he will do it all from memory. Wiltshire will take a one-time helicopter flyover of Houston as he studies and memories the landscape and architecture. He will then commence sketching to create a 12-foot by 3-foot panorama of Houston publicly at the Galleria. He will work seven hours a day for five days to create the piece. This is a unique opportunity to see an artist at work and watch Houston come to life in a whole new way.
