It’s not hard to pinpoint why Austin
is one of the top ten fastest growing cities in the US. On top of potential career opportunities, people fall in love with the city itself. Here are some places that make Austin so charming.
360 Bridge Sunset
Hike up to the 360 Bridge Overlook and experience one of the best views of the 360 Bridge and the Austin skyline. Take in the vista during the early morning with a warm coffee or enjoy a picnic while you watch the sun set behind the bridge.

Trail of Lights
Although Central Texas isn’t known for its white Christmases, there are still plenty of holiday activities to enjoy. The best is Austin Trail of Lights. It’s a free celebration in Zilker Park that offers live performances and light displays that extend across a section of the park, complete with themes like Candy Land and Santa’s Workshop.

You can do many things on Congress Bridge, such as snap some classic downtown photos, but it’s actually more popular for the bats that hang just beneath it. Almost every night, the United States’ largest urban bat population heads out at dusk to grab a bite to eat, bringing in a crowd of people atop Congress Bridge to witness the event.

The University of Texas at Austin
