Clothing and Accessories

1. Jamie Nashville

Bazaar, Store

The Mall at Green Hills may be full of chain store options for designer threads–but if you’re searching for a smaller boutique-style outlet full of top-of-the-line clothing and accessories, Jamie is a can’t-miss destination. This women’s specialty boutique offers one of the best collections of contemporary European and American clothing and accessories in Nashville and was even named a Nashville style leader by Harper’s Bazaar. Featured designers include Vera Wang, Marni, Derek Lam, Max Mara, and J.Mendel–just to name a few.

2. Eric Adler

3. Otis James

Shop, Store

After a 4,000-mile bike ride across the U.S., Otis James relocated to Nashville and began to work in a local tuxedo shop. Here, he learned the art of crafting high-quality neckties, and since then he has been committed to designing and producing handmade men’s neckties that are simultaneously simple and meticulously well made. Since establishing his own brand, Otis James has expanded to crafting caps, bowties, and scarves, all of which are produced in James’ North Nashville studio. Visit the studio to purchase your own one-of-a-kind Otis James product and get a behind-the-scenes look at the brand’s workshop–just call ahead to make sure that they’re open (hours are flexible, but the shop is generally open between 12-6pm on Mondays-Saturdays).

Shoes

4. Peter Nappi

Shop, Store

Established in 2011, Peter Nappi is a luxury leather goods and footwear brand steeped in more than a century of family shoemaking tradition. Nappi’s grandfather was a shoemaker in Southern Italy in the late nineteenth century; today, Nappi infuses his Nashville-based brand with this rich history. All of Nappi’s products are designed in Nashville and handmade in Naples, and products include both men’s and women’s shoes as well as bags, belts, wallets, and other leather goods. Shop online or visit the breathtaking Peter Nappi showroom, located in a refurbished former industrial boiler room in East Germantown. (Bonus: the store is currently running an end-of-summer sale. Just enter the code ‘CIAOSUMMER’ at checkout to receive an additional 40% off sandals.)

5. Lucchese Boots

Shop, Store

Established in Texas in 1883, Lucchese has been dedicated to hand crafting and selling the best possible boots for over a century. Each boot sold by the company is individually made and hand stitched, and as a result the brand is known nationwide for its craftsmanship and quality. The brand has just a handful of brick-and-mortar retail stores throughout the nation that are mostly concentrated in Texas — but recently, a storefront opened in the Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood. If you’re looking for name brand quality, you would be hard-pressed to find a better selection.

Home Furnishings

6. Epiphany Design Studio

Shop, Store

Located on Nashville’s up-and-coming 8th Avenue, Epiphany Design Studio is an upscale antique and interiors retailer. While the store may sell antique goods, do not confuse Epiphany for a thrift store–rather, this 8th Avenue gem is committed to selling only the highest-quality furniture, accessories, and interiors. Not only is the store itself a gorgeous testament to the shop’s collection of inviting, artfully matched decor, but so too are the employees dedicated to helping customers fulfill any interior design visions they may be harboring.

7. Gilchrist Gilchrist

Gilchrist Gilchrist

At Gilchrist Gilchrist, a Taylor Swift-endorsed vintage/antique home furnishing boutique in Berry Hill, you’ll find some of the best high-end shabby-chic home furnishings in Nashville.
