Lamplighter Lounge

Your stereotypical dive bar but with better music and indoor smoking. There’s a limited drink menu of five select draft beers and a simple food menu of cheeseburger, burger and fries. However, the Lamplighter has the best jukebox and low-key open mic. This is a real country music bar experience.

Electric Cowboy

Electric Cowboy is a western-themed nightclub that encourages dancing, especially country dancing. It varies between live bands and DJs that all focus on country. It’s basically a full bar and a large wooden dance floor. There’s some country music stars framed on the walls, too.

Earnestine & Hazel’s

Earnestine & Hazel’s is pretty simple: a bar & grill with live music and a jukebox. This bar is no-frills and casual with its run-down décor. It’s a little western and a little dive-y. The drinks are reasonably priced, and, paired with live entertainment, going to the bar becomes an event.

Wet Willie’s

Wet Willie’s is the traditional American bar, except with an entire wall dedicated to frozen slurpee drinks that can be made virgin/non-virgin. It’s a frozen daiquiri bar. There’s also live Memphis bands on weekend nights, dedicated to Memphis country.

Buccaneer Lounge

The Buccaneer Lounge is the dive bar for live talent. Treating their musicians incredibly well, there’s live talent every night. And the Buccaneer is set up for enjoying the music with a large stage and surrounding tables. However, there’s also a full bar area that enables a free space from the music. Reasonable drinks accompanied with a great food menu, the Buccaneer is the dream country music bar.
