Nearby are Independence Hall, the Cathedral Basilica of St Peter and the Kimmel Center, a terrific performing-arts center.

Recently opened, this Hilton offering majors in comfort and style. All 236 rooms are thoughtfully designed with blue walls, gold hardware and floor-to-ceiling sculptural headboards. Other appreciated details include gel memory foam mattresses, workspaces and barn doors that lead to spa-like bathrooms. We love the in-room Nespresso machines and comfy bathrobes and highly recommend the premium rooms that come with stunning city views. Staying here, you’re within walking distance of Philadelphia’s Old City. Alternatively, we recommend borrowing one of the complimentary bikes to explore.
