The Best Boutique Shops In Pittsburgh

Updated: 21 April 2017
The city of Pittsburgh isn’t just formed of Steel, it’s made of fabric too. The boutique side of Pittsburgh is growing and growing, with beautiful new independent shops opening every day. Here are some of the leaders of the Pittsburgh boutique movement.

Boutique La Passerelle

Boutique La Passerelle brings the latest in European fashion straight to the streets of Pittsburgh. The store carries clothing, accessories and shoes for women of all ages, all very chic and elegant. Forget the streets of Paris and Milan, Boutique La Passerelle has everything you could need to be a face of fashion, no plane ticket necessary.

Wildcard

If you haven’t been able to find the perfect gift for someone you care about recently, you might want to pay this shop a visit. Wildcard has been supplying the Lawrenceville area with unique cards, handmade gifts and much more since 2009. Shopping at Wildcard means that you’re supporting local artists and businesses that create the one of a kind items found only in this store.

Wildcard, 4209 Butler St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 + 1 412 224-2651

Ragged Row

In 2012, graphic designer Brigitte Nguyen opened Ragged Row because she felt that Pittsburgh needed more ‘locally owned boutiques’ and now she has two locations in the Pittsburgh area. Along with her sister, Christina Nguyen, Brigitte co-owns both locations which carry Pittsburgh-themed apparel that are designed by both Brigitte and her partner David Barbe. The owners strive to only carry made-in-America items, to cement that home-made vibe. When browsing, notice how they subtly play on icons in Pittsburgh like the Steelers logo.

Lex & Lynne

Lex & Lynne started in 2011 as a line of jewelry under the same name, and Alexis Corry has been about keeping her business local ever since. Now with two clothing boutiques in Sewickley (the newest one includes menswear), Alexis has also added clothing designer to her list of attributes. The boutiques are very chic and offer clothing, shoes, handbags and belts all following the latest fashions.

Kiya Tomlin

The wife of the Steelers’ coach, Kiya Tomlin just recently opened her first flagship store, but has been designing her own clothing line for a while now. In the store you’ll find Tomlin’s Uptown Sweats line (which is a brand of fleece dresses) and loungewear that is stylish while being comfortable for the woman on the go, as well as Colombian-made leather handbags by Sandra Cadavid
