Known for its raw comedy and bawdy humor, Philadelphia lays the foundation for some intimate and honest comedy shows. Read ahead for our guide to some of the best spots to see comedy in Philadelphia.

The N Crowd

Founded in 2005, The N Crowd Show features live improv every Friday night from 8PM-9:20PM, with an occasional show at 10pm. In the intimate 30-40 seat venue, you can catch a show that features interactive audiences in scenarios reminiscent of Whose Line Is It Anyway? You’ll consistently find great shows here with energetic performers who will show patrons the subtlties of improvisation with over 80 minutes of unscripted comedy. Don’t forget to order tickets in advance—it can get crowded! Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door (doors open at 7:30pm so get there early!)
