The rooftop deck has views across the Museum District and the city from Callowhill. It is a great communal space to grill food with friends. The lounge is an equally friendly space with table football and genuinely congenial atmosphere. In a neighborhood that is never far from green spaces, this is a perfect choice during warmer months. This old factory has been converted from industry into clean and elegant apartments, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bath or shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries.

Close to Spruce Street and Washington Square, The Queen is a huge studio in another enormous industrial building, perfect for a couple wanting to stay in the lively Queen Village. Clean lines leave you feeling well-disposed but there is a sense of the buildings past, with original materials from the building being repurposed into the new design. The wood-deck roof garden is a great spot to get views of the Benjamin Franklin bridge crossing into New Jersey.

As in Rittenhouse and East Market above, ROOST Midtown has all the same amenities of a high-spec kitchen, on-site laundry and all the mod cons. The studio, one and two-bedroom apartments have high ceilings with an industrial church-like light pouring through the windows. It is also aimed at long term weekly or monthly rentals. Before you know it you will become part of the stylish furniture. Set in the cultural part of the city and City Hall, there is much in the area to explore.
