Every pastry is made on site at the Division street location of Little T American Baker. Owned by Chef Tim Helea, Little T Baker is known for its French-inspired baked goods. It is more than just a bakery and also serves more traditional breakfast fare but the freshly baked bread and precisely sourced ingredients make even the usual breakfast sandwich into a unique, exquisite meal.

Trinket is a tiny bar with a cozy, comfortable vibe. Their farm fresh eggs are used to make dishes like their hash and their polenta with steamed eggs and greens full of rich flavor. Trinket offers meals for every appetite, from small plates like steel-cut oats to larger plates like huevos al pastor, pineapple-braised pork with tortillas and eggs. Fresh-squeezed juices and special brunch cocktails are available to complement any brunch dish, as is a fully stocked bar with a diverse selection of wine, beer, cocktails and cider.

Off the Waffle

Owned by two brothers, this waffle shop sells Belgian-inspired ‘Liège’ waffles – sweet, crispy waffles made of brioche dough. All produce used at Off the Waffle is organic and all waffles can be made gluten-free. The owners offer high-quality real grade B maple syrup but discourage customers from using any because their waffles are so naturally sweet. If waffle-lovers leave wanting more, Off the Waffle sells frozen Liège waffles to make at home.

This popular Division Street bar has a weekend brunch as superb as any of its famed seafood dinners. A wood-fired apple pancake, a double cheeseburger with fries, and chilled raw seafood are all fair game on The Woodsman Tavern‘s brunch menu. Try their special Bloody Mary with a secret mix or any of their other drinks at the bar. The bar also offers delicious non-alcoholic drinks like homemade cream soda and cold-brew coffee.

The line can occasionally stretch outside the door, but fear not, as food is served fast and the line generally moves quickly. This Scandinavian cafe is so popular that lines can get very long but luckily, customers can order a pastry or a drink from the bar to tide them over whilst they wait. A popular menu item is ‘Söder’ – smoked trout with gravlax, thick ham, and pastries.
