This cozy gem of a restaurant offers guests everything from tacos (of course) to combination plates to huevos options to special combos to house specialties, ensuring that every hungry diner will leave satisfied. Must-try options include the carne asada tacos and the al pastor tacos, both of which are served on soft corn tortillas; the costillas, which are pork ribs cooked in red or green sauce and served with rice, beans, and guacamole; and the chuletas de puerco rancheras, or pork chops smothered with tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños. Try these dishes and more seven days a week.

Although known for its delicious pizza, Giorgio’s also offers pasta, sandwiches, calzones, stromboli, and appetizers. Vegetarians will love the veggie with sauce, mozzarella, spinach, tomato, onion, mushrooms, black olives, and bell peppers. For those who are more creative, there are other toppings in order to customize your pie. Giorgio’s is open Monday through Saturday.

Hamburger King

Established in 1927 in Bristow, with Shawnee getting a venue shortly thereafter, Hamburger King has been delighting generations of customers with its juicy burgers and other American eats. Diners order via a telephone placed at each table, adding to the charm of this family-owned operation. The menu offers a regular hamburger or cheeseburger along with double or triple meat options, and each burger can be served with a side of potato wedges. Other options include chili, dinner entrées, and sandwiches, and don’t forget to leave room for a slice of mouthwatering pie. Hamburger King is open every day except for Sunday.

For meat lovers looking for a good steak or other meat dishes at reasonable prices, Paul’s Place Steakhouse is the place to go. Guests can visit for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.
